A golf course that is both accessible for amateurs and demanding for professionals.
The Río Bayamón Golf Course is unique in Northern Puerto Rico’s metropolitan area. The course was designed and built by the employees of the Municipality of Bayamón as part of the Paseo Lineal recreational system. The beauty that surrounds it provides a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere and all the amenities. It is both accessible for amateurs and demanding for professionals. The project is complemented with recreational programs, day camps, and education for those who like playing golf. Without a doubt, playing at the Río Bayamón Golf Course is an attractive option full of advantages that guarantees lots of fun for everyone.
This project began as an environmental initiative geared toward reforestation and erosion control in the river basin.
The golf course is an 18-hole complex that includes a club house, putting green, chipping green, and driving range, as well as the convenience of a pro-shop and a restaurant.
The course spans an area of 113 acres, for a total of 5,020 yards in 18 holes [5 Par-3, 9 Par-4, and 4 Par-5]. Its narrow fairways, along with river, lake, and stream crossings and constant wind, make this course both attractive and challenging.
